Astronomy
Have you ever looked up into the night sky and thought about just how beautiful the stars really are? Every time I look at the stars, they send me off into another universe, a universe which is perfect in every way. But, unfortunately, that is just what it is .............. a dream. But anyway, that's not the topic in question here. Did you ever think that if the stars looked so beautiful from so many light-years away, how enchanting they would look from a closer view? Well, on this page, I'm going to give you a chance to do just that.
Here, you're going to find over a 100 close up pictures of Messier-Class galaxies, nebulae, etc. Many of the pictures are black-and-white (yet very good resolution), but there are some really good colored ones too. I know many of you would prefer taking a look at only the colored pictures, so I have put an asterisk (*) sign wherever there is at least 1 colored picture. But let me tell you that even the black-and-white pictures are very good.
Click on the links below to view the pictures. I have put them together in groups of 6 (the last is a group of 2 and one other is a group of 5). Right click on the pictures and click on"Save as" to save them onto your desktop. Sorry, but I don't have the picture of M102 at the moment.
